The ADT75 is a 12-bit temperature-to-digital converter that has an I2C®/SMBus-compatible interface. The ADT75 has a conversion time of 60 ms (typ) and consumes as little as 300 µA (typ) current while operating at 3.3V. The ADT75 operates over a wide temperature range (-55°C to +125°C) and achieves a temperature accuracy of +/-1°C (max) from 0°C to 70°C, B grade version. The ADT75 also has three pins (A0, A1, and A2) available for address selection and has an open-drain OS/ALERT output that becomes active when temperature exceeds a programmable limit. All this is offered in 8-lead SOIC and MSOP packages and is ideal for high volume industrial, instrumentation, consumer equipment applications, due to its competitive cost base.
